Calling it Rainbow Splash, Alexis Mabille presented his collection, progressing from black to more vibrant colours, including fuchsia and coral – the colour of 2019. The hue progression was further reinforced by the change in the mood of the looks and fabrics; from a strict satin to a more playful pink tulle. Gold is present as an underlining element of youth, despite the fact that it can flip the mood onto a heavier note.
As a whole, Alexis promotes the general concept of a dialogue between colours and what is permissible in principle. It is as if he associates each colour with a different feeling and meaning.
