Coronavirus: LVMH Maisons in Italy fight against Covid-19

While LVMH has been active for weeks in support of the fight against Covid-19. The Maisons in Italy are now joining forces to support the country’s nationwide efforts to eradicate the virus.

Bvlgari 

The iconic Roman brand has launched massive production of hand sanitizer gel, working with its partner ICR Cosmetics. Priority goes to supplying medical establishments most seriously impacted by Covid-19 via Dipartimento della Protezione Civile. Bvlgari should deliver several hundred thousand 75 milliliter bottles over the next two months.

Fendi 

The Maison has been active for several weeks, providing financial support for the Lombardy region and sending surgical masks to Tuscany. Fendi expects to deliver over 100,000 masks.

Cova

Internationally renowned pastry shop in Milan opened a home delivery service ahead of the Easter holidays. Twenty-five percent of sales from  #CovaAtHome will go to Lombardy to help build the new Milano Fiera hospital. Cova is also currently delivering pastries to Sacco hospital in Milan to support medical personnel on the front lines of the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Loro Piana 

The Maison has made a donation to the Fondazione Valsesia to aid hospitals in Valsesia valley in Northern Italy and provide them with supplies and equipment. Loro Piana is manufacturing and sending blankets for quarantine centers and providing logistics support in Valsesia. It has also begun testing of prototype masks that could be produced for the general public.

Acqua di Parma 

Finally, the iconic Maison is contributing to Italy’s national effort with its #StayHome solidarity campaign. All proceeds from online sales of Acqua di Parma home and personal care products will be donated to charities to support urgent public health efforts. The initiative will run throughout April and will also fund purchases of medical equipment.
