Bus Network

New Paris Bus Network Launches Today

It’s taken 3 years to complete, 5 new lines to create, 50 lines to modify and extend, 110 additional buses and 250 stops to add to redo the entire bus network of the French capital. This is something that has not been done since 1950. So why bother now?

Here is the thing, Paris has been suffering from an inefficient bus network that was slowing down the whole city. The objectives of this restructuring are to improve the punctuality, frequency and quality of the bus service in the city.

How NOT to get lost?

RATP, Île-de-France Mobilités and the city of Paris have deployed 10,000 agents on the network as well as its dedicated website to provide Parisians with all the information necessary to help with transition. For more information click here.
