Following the launch of its film on Responsible Sourcing, Gemfields has introduced the second instalment in its exciting new video series. This short film is focused on emeralds, in celebration of May’s birthstone.
Additionally, Fabergé is in a partnership with Gemfields to source precious Zambian emeralds for its collections. Long associated with new beginnings, emeralds also represent hope, peace and springtime.
The films take viewers on a journey of discovery, from the way these gemstones have been formed over a period of more than 500 million years, to how Gemfields is responsibly sourcing them today. Using sculptured CGI tableaus, the film traces their rich history, including how they have always been a favourite with royalty and why they remain so desirable with consumers and celebrities today.
