In the time of global confinement, LVMH launched a News From Home series. A new video series available on the LVMH Instagram account where the Group’s creatives share their thoughts and tell the how they continue to stay creative and nurture inspiration from home.
With the lockdown imposing physical distancing, the LVMH Group says it aims to keep in touch with its audience by sharing exceptional moments through its new Instagram series News From Home. Each episode offers to take part in an exclusive conversation with the Group’s creative talents.
In the first episode of News From Home, Guillaume Henry, Artistic Director of Patou, describes how he is able to work on the next collection from home, as well as his passion for the music of Boris Vian and his burning desire to see Paris again after being away for so long.
Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Creative Director of Kenzo, is the second guest on News From Home. He says translating his emotions into drawing, enjoying sunlight as it bathes his little studio and following his yoga teachers remotely help him stay balanced, although he spends the majority of his time in front of screens to keep close contact with his team.
Next is Thierry Wasser, Guerlain Master Perfumer. Surrounded by bottles of perfume during the quarantine, he says the lockdown has not hampered his creativity since imagination is “something we all carry inside us”. Thierry Wasser remains resolutely optimistic about what the future holds.
Stay tuned for more episodes of News From Home, with Maria Grazia Chiuri (Christian Dior), Silvia Venturini Fendi, Jonathan Anderson (Loewe), Nicholas Kirkwood, Francis Kurkdjian, Lucia Silvestri (Bulgari)… coming soon on the LVMH Instagram account.
