Environment: Charriol tells the Story of Plastic

Charriol has launched its Charriol Living campaign in support of the Earth Day, sustainability and “The Story of Plastic”. The latter is a documentary, of which Coralie Charriol is the executive producer, that globally premiered on Discovery to introduce initiatives to promote the impact on the environment.

An official selection of Mill Valley Film Festival (Audience Award winner) and 2019 DOC NYC, “The Story of Plastic” takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution; as well as the worldwide effect it has on the health of the planet and the people. The film illustrates the ongoing catastrophe: fields full of garbage, mountains of trash, rivers and seas clogged with waste, and skies filled with emissions from plastic production and processing.

Charriol has pledged to “walk the walk” not just one day per year, but make every day the Earth Day. The brand claimed that by Summer 2020, all Charriol shopping materials would be 100% paper.
